Sophie’s Legacy named as Connect It’s Charity of the Year for 2025

Connect It Utility Services (CIUS) is proud to announce that Sophie’s Legacy has been chosen as its Charity of the Year for 2025.

This year-long partnership will see employees CIUS raising funds, volunteering, and spreading awareness to support the charity’s vital work improving hospital experiences for children and their families.

Sophie’s Legacy was founded in memory of Sophie, an inspirational young girl who was determined to make a difference in the lives of hospitalised children.

Her legacy continues through the charity’s efforts to enhance hospital care, provide essential family support, and advocate for lasting change.

“We are incredibly proud to be supporting Sophie’s Legacy as our Charity of the Year for 2025,” said Laban Giles, Managing Director of Connect It Utility Services.

“At CIUS, we believe in giving back to the community, and this partnership allows us to contribute to a cause that aligns with our values of care, compassion, and making a difference.”

Over the next 12 months, CIUS will actively support Sophie’s Legacy through a variety of fundraising, volunteering, and awareness initiatives.

All proceeds from CIUS’s annual charity events, including Christmas Jumper Day, Coffee Mornings, and the Christmas Raffle, will be dedicated to Sophie’s Legacy, helping to fund their vital work.

CIUS employees also will take part in hands-on initiatives, starting with hosting and sponsoring a Hospital Pizza Night to bring some comfort to children and families in hospitals.

Throughout the year, CIUS will utilise its platforms to promote Sophie’s Legacy’s mission, encouraging others to get involved and support the cause.

The CIUS team looks forward to working closely with Sophie’s Legacy to make a meaningful impact throughout 2025. Regular updates on fundraising events and progress will be shared via the company’s website and social media channels.
